Dr Jodi Davis

Dr Jodi Davis has been practicing on the sunshine coast for the past nine years, having moved to the wonderful sunshine coast from Sydne’y for the lifestyle and wonderful environment to raise a family. Dr Jodi has a wealth of knowledge to contribute to her community and has a dedicated following of patients under her care. Passionate about the community wellbeing and family health,Dr Jodi is continually completing further studies with a keen interest in neurology and childrens spinal health.

Studied extensively through out her career gaining both a diploma in health and a bachelor in nursing, as a registered nurse she specialised in operating theatre, intensive care nursing and emergency in some of sydney’s largest hospitals such as RPA, Royal North Shore and Concord. Then went on to work for Professor Micheal Morgans (head of neurosurgery at Dalcross Hospital in neurology and spinal surgery) neurosurgical ICU as well as worked for Ryde spinal rehabilitation centre where she gained valuable neurological and spinal clinical experience. After experiencing her own journey with a back injury, ironically from nursing she went on a journey of discovery to what spine care there was to offer, found chiropractic and was so impressed by her own response, that she decided to go on to complete a bachelor of Science majoring in anatomy and physiology and a Master of Chiropractic in neurology and orthopedics. Completed further studies in the field of paediatric diploma(children) as well as pregnancy and spinal rehabilitation.

Dr Jodi practices an arrangement of different treatment methods , diversified manual adjustments , SOT ( sacrooccipital ),applied Kinesiolgy, Net ( neuroemotional technique), drop piece , craniosacral therapy and soft tissue muscle release techniques, with special techniques for pregnancy and baby and children adjustments.

Dr Jennifer Viverios

Dr of Chiropractic

Zumba & Yoga Teacher

Dr. Jennifer Viveiros was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and moved to Australia in 2007, where she has practiced in regional areas of South Australia and far north Queensland. Her original back ground is largely in exercise physiology and rehabilitation, having majored in kinesiology (Human movement) and minored in bio chemistry at McMaster University. Jennifer is an experienced personal trainer and fitness instructor and currently teachers Zumba and yoga. The positive effects of chiropractic treatment during her athletic career at school motivated Jennifer to complete her train at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.

 

Jennifer has trained in a variety of chiropractic techniques such as diversified (Manual), Activator (Instrument based), Active release technique (Soft tissue based), and trigenics. In addition Jennifer practises NET (Neuro Emotional Technique) and Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT) a low force neurologically based technique that uses blocks under the pelvis and cranial therapy to restore normal cerebrospinal fluid balance.

 

Jennifer’s clinical experience with diverse populations has been inspiring and has led to a keen interest in paediatrics. She has a passion for chiropractic and believes the mechanical, emotional, and neurological affects are of benefits to patients of all conditions and ages.

Individual care plans are designed for your health and spinal concerns. We will examine you carefully and consider your medical and health history, your initial examination will consist of movement of your spine, a neurological assessment to determine how well your nerves exit your spine and muscle strength and you may require spinal x-rays or further scans for a thorough spinal diagnosis to be determined. Based upon your analysis your chiropractic program will consist of chiropractic adjustments tailored to your condition, soft tissue muscle release and some massage therapy as well as rehabilitative exercise and nutrition advice.
